In Literacy we are studying the history of the Titanic and some of the passengers that survived and died during the voyage of 1912. Our focus is to learn about the time period of 1912 and what lead to the sinking of the Titanic. We will be reading several novels related to the ship and students are required to complete mini assignments as they read their novel. We will also be completing a REPORT based on a passenger from the Titanic. The students will be asked to complete a written and oral report about a passenger that interests them.
